Having risen up through the ranks of the Korean National Sports System to place first at
both the National Championships and the National University Championships in 1989,
Coach Nam brings to NAFA his experience as a top-ranked student and as a trainer of
the Korean Junior National Team, as well as members of the Korean World and Olympic
teams.

Along with John and Lael, Coach Nam is constantly working to meld the best of East/
West training techniques with the latest in technical progression and dynamic education
models for the benefits of all their students.

Coach Nam earned his Physical Education degree from the Korean National Sports
University and obtained his teaching license in 1991 from the Korean National Ministry
of Education. He was the Physical Education Teacher and Head Fencing Coach at a high
school in Seoul, Korea, where his team won multiple City Championship titles.
